You know I always said why not just throw away your computer and lie your ass off about someone stealing your WIFI. The average consumer buys a wireless router and knows nothing about security or WEP hacking. It’s so easy (I mean not for me I know nothing about this stuff, but I hear things) to get into someone’s system and maliciously use their property for gain.
You know I have always hated the RIAA and their argument of losses, and this 70 cents a song is such a HUGE hit to them and their case. Eventually it’s going to come down to download all you want but if you caught you will have to pay for the song itself…..HA HA HA HA< fuck you RIAA.
I used to have an online radio show and our major content revolved around the MPAA and RIAA. Week after week we would bash and friends and listeners would call (or use our chat room) and share in our hatred to these corporate a-holes ad their fake cause.
I think these two stories are amazing and can’t wait for the recording industry to finally have to bend over backwards and accept they may not be superior to the average guy anymore, I mean think of all the free ways to promote and produce your music now. Seriously the industry will be completely gone in the future anyway.
When ever I made music (in a local band), I imagined being in a professional band and make a DECENT living. I never really wanted to make gillions of dollars and always said if I did I would Elvis it and freely give it away to charities. Honestly musicians got greedy, executives got greedy, and music is now a corporate illusion on what we’re supposed to think is cool.
You rock for two things
1) Fame
2) Chicks (I unfortunatley learned too late playing bass gets you neither)
